See why our people live the way they do! Experience our 30 minute interpretive tour of Behalt—a stunning 265-ft circular mural depicting Amish and Mennonite history. The name Behalt means “to keep, hold, or remember.” The painted oil-on-canvas cyclorama uses distinctive artistic techniques of line and color to illustrate multiple stories within a vast timeline.

Plus enjoy a video presentation of community life.

Discover Amish education and its connection to one-room schools in our pre-Civil War schoolhouse. Our Pioneer Barn houses a restored Conestoga Wagon that brought early settlers from Pennsylvania to our region and farther west.
